  1. At first I thought it was a nice place. The woman at the front desk was very nice. The rooms at first glance looked nice. Ten minutes later not so much. Dirty and run down. No heat and no hot water in the morning. The final disappointment was breakfast or lack of any. For $150 you can do way better. And one more thing I hope you like log trucks thundering down main street all night.

  2. Deliciously excellent food! I had the lobster dish, it was phenomenal and fresh. Mark had the salmon which was sooo good! Bartender Josh is a treasure, knowledgeable, funny and right on point. Give this place a visit! You will be so glad you did!

  3. Great history. Great location – walking distance to everything. Pet-friendly suite was large and clean. Owners/management/employees were friendly.

  4. Great lobster roll, salmon. Understaffed. Service rather slow both times we visited. Convenient location.

  5. My husband had some work so do in a town near by. Not being able to find any room available at chain hotels, we found the Thayers Inn. Located in a prime spot, all the little shops and museums are right there. Gave me something to do while my husband was working. The staff were very friendly, and all the town’s people were nice as well. Our room was neat, beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. This place as well as the town is Rich in history. Would definitely stay here again as well as recommend it to anyone.
