  1. We love staying at the Maple Leaf. We always reserve a room with a full kitchen because we have lots of family in the area and we stay for awhile. The kitchen has the basic necessities: dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils and silverware. There is coffee and hot water for tea available in the front office, along with ice. The pool is well kept and there is a playground, horse shoes. There is are covered tables and benches and a BBQ.

  2. Clean comfortable beds. Rooms were quiet. Owners were friendly.

However, the motel is showing its age. The A/C wasn’t great and the rooms could use some cosmetic attention (outdated bathrooms, older run down furniture, dust in the corners, wallpaint needs retouching).

Was good for the evening but probably wouldn’t stay there again.

  3. The pool was dirty and full of dead bugs, and the coffee maker we were assured was available to us in the morning was filthy. The first impression was decent, it was a big room and seemed clean enough. Definitely wasnt worth 120 for the night.

  4. How ironic the sign says clean and friendly… We pulled in right before 9 pm to a dark front office but the sign on the door said to ring the door bell and they will be right there. About five minutes later a man (presumably the owner) comes out rudely yelling saying he was sleeping and that he can give us a ticket. We were nothing but polite. If he doesn’t wish to be bothered he can remove the sign on the door and we’re closed. Absolutely absurd and rude BEWARE
