  2. Quiet place with good sites. Most of the sites are well spaced out. You can make online reservations. Hiking trails close by.

  3. We wanted to drive on the famous kangamungus highway at white mountains national forest so we decided to camp there and drive it in the morning. Most sites on white mountains are 1st come 1st serve and we wanted to stay close distance to the highway. We ended up taking the first site from the east side of the highway called covered bridge. It was a yucky rainy night which meant we pretty much stayed in our van the entire time! I would describe the campsite as quite rugged and mysterious! Also your in bear country so that adds to the mood of the forest. They had no showers and only vault toilets so there weren’t many amenities. For us, the campsite wasnt too great but they had the best tasting water ever! Ha. Also the fact that we were so close to the kancamungus highway made up for it! I would say white mountains national forest is one of the most rugged and intensely cool forests i’ve ever seen. Its legit wild! Like planet earth wild and anything goes there. Watch out for those mosquitos though! There were plenty of em there. Was here in June.

  4. Beautiful campground by the Swift river. Lots of swimming spots. The camp hosts are really friendly and super helpful!! They even warned us of an impending rain storm and saved us a lot of soggy supplies.
