  1. Loved camping here so much we came back in a few weeks! Will be back many times! And best of all I can commute to work from here which makes for unlimited camping!

  2. My family and I have been going to this campground for YEARS. It’s nice and quiet, the hosts are so friendly, and the history behind the grounds is interesting. Total recommend going there, but you have to save a spot!

  3. It’s a great place to go there very friendly the mosquitoes are very friendly to

  4. Great campground, good sites and friendly camp hosts. Really cool placards all around the campground explaining the history behind the campground.

  5. The campground host was FANTASTIC. She gave us advice on what was worth visiting around, and helped us grab some less-expensive (but totally certified) firewood.

We had an absolutely gorgeous time there (camped overnight Sun.-Mon. after hiking Chocorua) and it was close enough (but not too close) to the highway and other attractions.

The atmosphere was enhanced by the CCC-related hike around the camp (not even a half mile long) and some remaining stone hearths.
